FMWORLD Launches Agricultural Machinery Training Across Africa; Full-Cycle Services Fuel Regional Agricultural Modernization

To strengthen localized after-sales service systems in Africa and ensure the stable long-term operation of agricultural machinery, FMWORLD has rolled out comprehensive technical training programs in multiple African countries, including Nigeria, the Republic of Congo, Namibia, Tanzania and Senegal. By providing professional technical support alongside machinery deliveries, the company comprehensively boosts agricultural mechanization across the continent.

Nigeria stands as a key market for FMWORLD, with over 300 combine harvesters delivered to date. Between 2023 and 2026, the company hosted multiple special training sessions for harvesters in Abuja and Kano, two major agricultural hubs, where over 300 local participants successfully completed the training. To address common challenges such as improper operation and inadequate maintenance skills among local operators, the training covered four core modules: standardized driving and field operation procedures for combine harvesters, full-process safety regulations,daily maintenance and periodic overhauls, as well as the identification and basic troubleshooting of common field malfunctions. Adopting a dual teaching model combining theoretical lectures and hands-on practice, technical specialists conducted on-site demonstrations of equipment adjustment, wear-part replacement, and emergency response to sudden breakdowns. The training effectively improved the practical capabilities of local operators and after-sales technicians, reduced machinery wear and tear, and greatly enhanced harvesting efficiency during peak farming seasons.

Beyond Nigeria, FMWORLD has also expanded its training efforts to Southern Africa. In 2026, FMWORLD, along with local authorized dealers and Namibia's Ministry of Agriculture, delivered practical training for tractors and combine harvesters. Classes were held at the Windhoek training base and major farming zones in northern Namibia, covering fieldwork, maintenance, and safety standards for local operators, significantly boosting the mechanization of Namibia's rain-fed farmland.
